Velocity Works is excited to present our new docuseries featuring businesses across the region utilizing advancing technology throughout their day-to-day operations. We recognize that the world truly goes round when you invest in software automations as they help create more efficiencies and increase productivity.
Up to Speed is a documentary series highlighting the people, institutions, companies and resources of the Greater Pittsburgh area as it completes its transition from a Steel manufacturing town to a STEM based world city. This documentary takes a look at the software and hardware that has empowered businesses, and how they’ve improved society.
Our goal is to shine a light on the region's collective capabilities and prowess in the technology spaces. Not only do we want to attract more talent in the region, we want to inspire and educate the workforce of today so we can have a better tomorrow.
Throughout this series, we hope to encourage people to embrace advancing technology, as it has a profound impact in shaping the lives of so many.
This docuseries advocates STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) and we want to invoke that natural curiosity in others from this series. By shedding light on the technology and innovations that are being developed, we wish to inspire others to make the next step in getting more involved in this exciting field.
We aim to educate both students and professionals about the importance of STEM and its impact on society. We also want to bring awareness to the shortage of skilled workers in certain fields, such as science and engineering.
Whether you have a story you would like to share or eager to introduce some new technology innovations you've adopted, please fill out the contact form and someone will be in touch with you shortly.
We want to hear your story and show the world how innovative software technologies impacted your organization.
What's the agenda of the series?
Velocity Works believes it's important to show the world just how critical technology plays a part of our daily lives. With the large gap between jobs being filled in the STEM field vs the people in the workforce, it's our mission to educate and encourage others to join this exciting movement.
What is the production timeline like?
Shooting would take a few hours and would be scheduled at your convenience in the next 1-6 weeks. Our crew is designed for minimum invasiveness (approximately 3-4 people). We would ask for one knowledgeable person to explain and demonstrate the usage of each of the various technologies that we mutually decide to feature. Ideally that person would be on camera, mic'd up and potentially participate in a brief (approximately a 15 min) interview.
Can I have a copy of the video to share on my own website and social media?
100% yes! Our team will send you the final video for you to use however you wish.
Where will this docuseries appear?
Our team will be promoting the series on our website, social media, YouTube channel and more.
